Well-Being Sanctuary:

Description of Activities:

All activities conducted at or associated with Well-Being Sanctuary, including but not limited to festivals, events, glamping, retreats, forest walks, lake swims, horse rides, games, dancing, workshops, camping, tree planting, open fires, use of tools, use of composting toilets, and walking on rough terrain.

1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK:

I, the undersigned, hereby acknowledge and agree that my entry into the Well-Being Sanctuary and participation in any and all activities, events, or stays is entirely at my own risk. I accept that Well-Being Sanctuary, its owners, members, event organisers, officers, employees, officials, volunteers, interns, artists, co-creators, and agents (collectively referred to as “the organisers”) shall not be held liable for any loss, theft, injury, damage to property, personal injury, or death arising out of my participation in activities or stay at the premises.

2. TERMS AND CONDITIONS ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:

I confirm that I have received, read, and fully understood the terms and conditions provided to me prior to my arrival at the Well-Being Sanctuary.

3. PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY:

I hereby assume full personal responsibility for any and all risks associated with my participation in the activities and events at the Well-Being Sanctuary. I accept full accountability for my actions, conduct, and their consequences, including but not limited to injury, damage, theft, loss, or death, whether caused directly or indirectly.

4. CODE OF CONDUCT:

I understand that the Well-Being Sanctuary is a family-friendly environment with strict policies prohibiting the use or trade of drugs or excessive alcohol. I agree to respect these boundaries and acknowledge that failure to do so will result in my immediate removal from the premises without refund.

5. MINOR PARTICIPATION (FOR PARENTS/GUARDIANS):

If signing on behalf of a minor, I hereby declare that:

(a) I am the legal parent/guardian of the minor whose name is provided below.

(b) I have been informed and understand that the organisers cannot be held liable for any accident, injury, or loss suffered by the minor during their participation in activities at the Well-Being Sanctuary.

(c) I grant permission for the minor to attend events or stay at the Well-Being Sanctuary and assume full responsibility for any risks or consequences, including injury, loss, or death, associated with their participation.

6. GENERAL RELEASE:

I hereby release, indemnify, and hold harmless Well-Being Sanctuary, its organisers, and all associated parties from any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, or damages arising from or related to my participation or stay.

7. BINDING EFFECT:

This indemnity agreement is binding upon myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, assigns, and dependents.

8. GOVERNING LAW:

This agreement shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

This legally binding indemnity ensures that participants clearly acknowledge the risks and responsibilities associated with their stay and participation at the Well-Being Sanctuary while providing clear limitations of liability for the organisers.
